In Glen Burnie, washes are busiest on sunny weekends and the first dry day after rain or a snowstorm, when lines back onto the street; weekday mornings are the quietest. Across Maryland, expect a basic exterior wash to cost about what a fast-food meal does, with wax, tire shine and undercarriage rinse sold as tiers above it. Self-service bays are the cheapest way to clean a truck bed, a muddy off-roader or a vehicle that will not fit a tunnel, and many run around the clock. Check the listing for the wash type, hours, free vacuums, unlimited plans and whether the site accepts cards or app payments, then call ahead in freezing weather, when tunnels close.

We use Soapyshell all the time. It is a great carwash. You have an option to wash your car yourself or choose one of the three automatic carwash options, two of which are touchless. The automatic ones do a great job cleaning even the dirtiest vehicle.

Pretty underrated carwash for the Glen Burnie area even since they rebranded this place to Soapy Shell but I did had a membership here with the previous name glen burnie car wash but I did a membership at Cshine Car Wash as well in Severn but cancelled that and came back here. But this is a recommendation for anyone who uses the automatic wash, if your vehicle is extra dirty it would be best to use the self wash and prep your vehicle before taking it to the automatic washes or even if you have a membership here I would probably recommend taking your vehicle in the wash twice depending on if anyone wants their vehicle extra clean.. touch free or soft touch automatics but I usually do the touch free wash here and use my membership scanner and go through the wash twice for a more clean vehicle result I tried the newly installed soft touch as well the other day with my great friend who needed a car wash and took him here for the soft touch option and he was impressed even how the car wash did a voice command stage of telling you to pull forward and what chemicals are being applied to your vehicle they did a great job renovating this car wash though but my only problem is with the self

Great self service car wash. I choose the most expensive options because my car was filthy. The wash was very thorough. The only downsize was that I forgot to use the vacuum. 😏

I'm officially done with this car wash and my monthly membership. Twice in a row now, that thing tried to rip my front license plate off. Last visit, I thought it was a fluke. I took it off, flattened it out, reattached. Went through again just now and it happened again. No possible way you're getting a third chance.

I came here today and all the self serve bays were occupied so I decided to use the laser touch free automatic wash. Paid $14 for the highest wash. When it was time for the polish protect cost it only went down the driver side not all the way around same with the rainx coat. Car is still dirty as you can see from the pics! This was a total waste of $!!! I will NEVER use this car wash again!!!
